The Bridge Network

Working Together

Local organizations sharing a common goal

The Bridge Network is a collection of organizations and businesses all working together toward the common goal of bringing support, resources, and encouragement to vulnerable children and families. We believe that if we link arms and work together in providing resources and meeting needs, we will make a far greater and further reaching impact to our communities.

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Romans 12:4-5

Hope Bridge is a faith-based organization. Our programs, initiatives, and work is fueled by our faith in Jesus Christ and the example of proximity he’s given us for moving toward the broken and serving with generosity, love, and compassion. While some businesses and organizations that engage with us may not share our faith, we believe we all agree on the same core values of dignity, respect, valued relationships, and integrity. Below is a list comprised of businesses and organizations of which we can align on those core values:

Hope’s House

Having fostered over 100 children and adopting 5 in the many years she & her husband were licensed, founder Julie Kirby still wanted to serve children in care and encourage those families taking care of them.
Hope’s House foster closet is such a quaint place with a ton of history, but most importantly, it’s full of love and understanding of what those first few hours are like when you get a foster placement. Hope’s House has everything you need for your foster placement from clothing and bottles, to gear and books. There are also toys for your children to play with while you gather the items you need.
Check it out if you live in the area, or if you are just visiting – we know you will be well taken care of! Hope House also takes donations of gently used and like-new items.

Pegasus Farm

The mission of Pegasus Farm is to create a community that holistically supports and empowers people with diverse needs through therapeutic equestrian programs, vocational services, and recreational and social activities. Hope Bridge and Pegasus Farm are linking arms to bring an equine assisted program to children affected by the foster care system.

While Pegasus Farm is dedicated to the idea that equine assisted activities provide exceptional physical and psychological benefits, challenging participants to positively learn and grow in ways they may not experience in day-to-day life, Hope Bridge is closely connected to many of the vulnerable population will benefit from their newly piloted program.
