We are linking arms with local churches in an effort to collectively and holistically impact the Ohio foster care system through prevention, intervention, and restoration.

The foster care crisis in Ohio is a systemic issue impacting the lives of many vulnerable children and families. We believe that the Church plays an instrumental part in the overall holistic and communal solution.

Ohio is home to over 10,000 churches and while many are eager and willing to serve these vulnerable children and families, they’re unsure just HOW to get involved. Hope Bridge can help get you connected!

An Action-Based Approach for Churches

Prevention

Imagine how we could impact the Ohio foster care system if together we actively engaged with vulnerable families in crisis before the system becomes involved. Wrapping around single mothers seeking support and community and a successful future for her children. Providing her with stable housing, budget training, and healthy, Godly mentorship.

Intervention

Imagine how we could impact the Ohio foster care system if together we actively engaged with foster, adoptive, and kinship families caring for vulnerable children. Providing respite, support groups, and encouragement to a burnt-out family desperate to be seen and ready to throw in the towel.

Restoration

Imagine how we could impact the Ohio foster care system if together we actively engaged with young adults aging out of the foster care system without an adoptive family or a place to call home. Wrapping around vulnerable youth to provide a healthy support system, a mentoring family to lean on, and connections to job skills and opportunities.
