At Hope Bridge, we advocate for change in the Ohio foster care system by mobilizing churches into action and equipping communities to serve.
Not everyone is called to be a foster parent, but we are ALL called to do something. Below are some tangible ways that you, your church, and your community can step deeper into impacting the foster care system by caring for vulnerable families alongside the work of Hope Bridge.
How can your church engage with us to support local families in crisis?
Single Moms
Mentorship
Care Communities/Wrap around support
Host a support group
Provide a meal
Skilled Volunteer – i.e. mechanic, electrician, etc.
There are many ways to make an impact on the foster care system as an individual without actually becoming a foster caregiver. How deep is God calling you?

Join a care team/wrap around a vulnerable family with consistent support
Become a monthly financial donor or corporate sponsor

All in:
Serve as a Skilled Volunteer – grant writing, event planning, committee involvement, mechanic, electrician, etc.
Become a CASA
Become a Respite caretaker
Launch a Family Advocacy Ministry at your local church
Become a licensed foster family
We are not all called to do the same thing, but we are all called to do something.
