FASD affects 1 in 20 school age children in the U.S.

Join us at The Compassion Center on September 6th, 2025 from 10AM-2:15PM to hear from Sandra Flach—mom of 8, FASD educator, and advocate.

A mom of 8 (5 through adoption, 2 diagnosed with FASD), Sandra equips foster and adoptive parents through her Adoption & Foster Care Journey podcast and is a certified facilitator of the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach.

This introductory workshop uses the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach to explore the impact of prenatal exposure to alcohol on the brain/body, outlines the primary, secondary, and tertiary characteristics of FASD, and unpacks accommodations and strengths-based strategies for parents, caregivers, and professionals.
